Tried Everything But Your Injury Keeps Coming Back?

an and ryan 2

You’ve seen multiple providers. You’ve rested. You’ve stretched. You’ve taken painkillers. Maybe you’ve had the scans, the manual therapy, the dry needling — even surgery.

And yet, every time you push your body, the same thing happens: The pain returns. The injury flares up. You’re stuck in the same loop.

Sound familiar?

  • A ‘niggling’ injury that’s been there for months, or years
  • Pain that comes back the moment you return to training, work, or sport
  • Multiple opinions, multiple treatments, no lasting result
  • Confidence in your body that’s been quietly eroded
  • A growing sense that this is just how it’s going to be

If you’ve experienced any of the above, we hear you. But this isn’t how it’s going to be. You’ve been managing the symptoms — you haven’t yet treated the cause.

The current system is flawed.
It doesn’t work.

• WHAT THEY DO

  • Rest and see how it goes
  • Needling without strengthening
  • Passive massage, no movement
  • Doing light band exercises with no progression
  • Treating the site, never the source

• THE CHRONIC GAINS WAY

  • Your body was built to move — we make it
  • Strength repairs what rest never can
  • Movement heals — stillness stalls
  • Full load. Full range. Full function.
  • We go to the root. Every single time.

Why Injuries Keep Coming Back

Most Injuries Don’t Heal Because
Rehab Stops Too Early

Real recovery isn’t just about reducing pain. Pain is the alarm, not the problem.

Injuries return because:

  • The underlying weakness was never addressed. The tissue healed, but the capacity didn’t.
  • Movement patterns weren’t corrected. Your body kept loading the injury the same way that caused it.
  • Rehab ended at “it feels okay”. Not at stronger, more resilient, and ready for real life.

Treat the root cause, not just the symptoms.
That’s the work. That’s what we do here at Chronic Gains.

The Chronic Gains Method

3 Simple Steps To Injury Recovery

Most clinics treat symptoms. We rebuild how your body actually works.
Our structured 3-step injury rehab system is designed to create long-term results.

1

Assess Movement Deficits

We identify the real problem — not just where it hurts, but why it hurts.
This includes movement breakdowns, muscle imbalances, and weaknesses.

2

Rebuild Movement & Function

We correct how your body moves, targeting the injury and the areas above and below it to restore proper mechanics and support long-term recovery.

3

Structured Rehab & Performance Plan

We build a tailored program to progressively restore strength, control, and capacity — so you can return to work, sport, and life with confidence.

Who We Help

Injuries We Treat

Whether it’s a recent injury or something that keeps coming back, we focus on identifying the cause and guiding you through a structured recovery – so you don’t end up back at square one.

Spine & Lower Back Injuries

We assess what’s actually driving your back pain and rebuild movement so it doesn’t keep returning.

Knee Injuries

From sports injuries to ongoing knee pain, we rebuild strength and stability so you can move with confidence again.

Sports Injuries

Whether it’s from the gym, running, or sport, we help you recover properly and rebuild capacity so you return without setbacks.

  • Acute sprains and strains
  • Recurring overuse injuries
  • Return-to-sport rehabilitation
  • Post-surgical sports rehab

Neurological Conditions

We provide tailored exercise and movement programs to support mobility, coordination, and independence over the long term.

Elbow, Wrist & Hand Injuries

We rebuild grip strength, joint stability, and control so you can return to work and daily tasks without pain.

Hip & Pelvis Injuries

We address the underlying causes of hip and pelvic pain to restore strong, pain-free movement.

Shoulder Injuries

We restore movement mechanics and progressively rebuild shoulder strength for long-term recovery.

What Makes Us Different

A Premium, Multi-Disciplinary Approach

We’re not a quick-fix clinic. We’re not a passive treatment provider. We’re an injury rehabilitation clinic built around long-term outcomes.

Our rehab team brings together Accredited Exercise Physiologists (Physiotherapy services coming soon) under one roof — so your program is designed by clinicians who specialise in restoring strength, function, and capacity.

What That Means For You

  • A structured system, not random sessions. Every program follows our 3-Step Chronic Gains Method.
  • Clinicians with 5+ years of experience who specialise in injury rehab.
  • Active, evidence-based recovery. We rebuild your body, not just treat the sore spot.
  • Progress you can measure. Strength benchmarks, movement quality, return-to-activity milestones.
  • One clinic, one team, one plan. Your rehab isn’t fragmented across providers.

For People Who Want To Fix It Properly

You don’t have time for recurring injuries, guesswork, or being told to “just rest.”

Our approach is designed for people who are serious about getting better – with clear direction, structured sessions, and real progression.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQS

It depends on the injury, how long you’ve had it, and your goals. Most clients see meaningful change within 4-6 weeks, with full programs typically running at least 8-16 weeks. We’ll give you a realistic timeline at your initial assessment.

No referral is required for private clients. Medicare CDM, Workers Compensation, CTP, and DVA pathways do require a referral or claim — we can help you understand what’s needed.

Most major Australian private health funds cover Exercise Physiology services as part of extras cover. The specific rebate depends on your fund and level of cover. Bring your card to your first session and we can process claims on the spot via HICAPS.

Our focus is on the condition and the outcome — not the discipline. Our rehabilitation team specialises in the active, exercise-based side of injury recovery: rebuilding strength, capacity, and movement so injuries stop returning. We’re expanding to include physiotherapy services soon, allowing us to provide an even more complete rehabilitation experience under one roof.

Most clients come to us after trying other providers. The most common reason injuries keep returning is that rehab stops too early — when you “feel okay” rather than “fully rebuilt”. Our structured progression takes you all the way through to long-term resilience.

Our primary model is in-person at our Bankstown clinic, where we can properly assess and progress you. We can discuss remote options after an initial in-person assessment if appropriate.
